How does the Breeze dating app work? Every day at 7PM it sends a handful of profiles. If two people match, there is no chat: you fill in a planner and Breeze books a first drink at a partner bar. A drinks date costs one date token, with no subscription, and the FAQ points to the app for the price.

This desk read Breeze’s FAQ, homepage and about page on 19 October 2026. For the alternatives, see how Timeleft works in the UK and how Thursday events work.

How does the Breeze dating app work, step by step?

  1. 7PM: a handful of new profiles, daily.
  2. Match: the FAQ says “a match = a date”. Pay your token and give your availability within 72 hours, or the match expires.
  3. Bar: Breeze books one of what it calls its “1.500+ partnered bars”.
  4. Confirm: Breeze asks for final confirmation 30 hours before; the deadline is 4 hours before.

The homepage claims daters are “screened and verified” and under 1% no-shows; the pages read do not say how screening works.

What happens to your token if a date is cancelled?

Once a date is planned, any of the cancellation triggers below costs your token. Repeat cancelling can freeze the account, and the FAQ says a warning comes before a ban. If the date was not yet planned, the FAQ says the token goes to your “date wallet” and “cannot be refunded to your bank account”. Deleting your profile cancels all upcoming dates and forfeits tokens left in the wallet.

Where does Breeze work in the UK?

The about page lists 46 UK cities, Belfast, Cardiff, Swansea and Plymouth among them. This site’s August review covered a thirteen-city expansion. A list is not density. Group dates sit under an FAQ heading marked “only available in the UK”, and the FAQ says they are “only happening in London”.

How is Breeze different from Thursday and Timeleft?

Per this site’s posts, Thursday sells event tickets with no matching, and Timeleft seats four to six people at a table. Breeze is one-to-one and paid per date.

Frequently asked questions

What does Breeze cost?

Breeze’s FAQ, read on 19 October 2026, says you only pay when you go on a date: no subscriptions, no ads. A drinks date costs one date token, covering matchmaking, logistics and a first-drink deal. The FAQ gives no price; it points you to the date tokens page in the app for your region.

Where is Breeze available?

Breeze’s about page, read on 19 October 2026, says it is live in 7 countries and 100 cities and lists 46 in the United Kingdom, from Aberdeen to York. Its FAQ names six countries and leaves out Ireland. A listed city tells you Breeze operates there, not how many people you will match.

How can my date be canceled?

The FAQ says a date is cancelled on your behalf if you request it, let the match expire, fail to confirm, ignore replan requests, or replan multiple times or within 24 hours and your match declines. You then lose the token if the date was already planned, and may lose your Breeze Culture badge or have your account frozen.
